Remotely Controlled (Motorised) Ball Valves
Motorised Ball Valves are the ideal answer for seacocks in hard to reach places, or simply to increase convenience on board.
The motorised valves are combination of an aluminium casing, metal gears, stainless steel (AISI 316) ball valve, and the extremely high torque (up to 220 Nm!) results in a highly reliable product with numerous applications.
Furthermore, the motor is ignition protected and certified to the ISO 8846 Marine standard, for use in the engine room without risk of explosion.
Motorised Ball Valves carry a 3 Year Warranty
Under normal operating conditions, the actuator is lubricated for life, so maintenance is minimal
• Housing made of powder-coated aluminium
• IP67 (Dust & watertight, see Annex)
• Ball valve made of stainless steel (AISI 316)
• Metal transmission and gears
• High torque (reduced chance of jamming)
• Thermal overload protection
• Simple manual operation in case of power failure
• Low maintenance
• Also suitable for diesel fuel
• Available from ½ inch to 2 inch (13mm - 50mm)
NB: The motorised ball valve can be opened and closed remotely using switch ELVPAN12 (12 Volt), or the wastewater control panel WWCP (Switch and switch panel are not included.)
