The AA710 provides complete flexibility in control from the bow or the helm station. See at a glance the length of anchor rode deployed. Fits any windlass.

Important Note: Maxwell HRC6 and HRC8 model anchor winches require a separate sensor to be fitted to the anchor winch (P102909 Triangle Sensor - NOT INCLUDED IN THIS KIT). This sensor is a FREE exchange at the time of order only for your new winch and must be purchased and installed separately when retro fitting the AA560 controller.
- 2.4GHz ISM Band
- IEEE 802.15.4 compliant
- Can co-exist with Bluetooth and WiFi networks nearby
- The network operates on different channels to the 2.4Ghz WiFi netowrks and offers a high level of security:
- Each item has a Unique ID
- Each transmission contains sender and destination information. This ensure that remotes and base station can only send and receive transmissions to and from registered members of their system
- Use of ‘hand shaking’ provides added security. Control functions are not executed until a secure link between remote and base station has been achieved
- Loss of continual incoming signals from the remotes places the base station into safety mode where all control functions are shut down
- Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) provides further security and immunity:
- Spread Spectrum signals are highly resistant to noise and interference
- The AutoAnchor wireless system scans frequencies within the band before transmisison. This ensures that communication is not attempted on a frequency where there is a lot of existing noise and possible interference
- Signal strength is displayed on the remote
- Operation range up to 10m (30ft) from base station
Remote Environmental Protection
- Water resistance designed to meet IP67. Remote enclosure has a rubber seal around the perimeter of the case
- Shock protection. Remote enclosure with rubber over-moulding to provide protection against shock
- The rubber over-moulding also provides grip in wet conditions, and a non-slip quality in rough sailing conditions
Wireless Remote Battery Details
- Remote powered by two AA alkaline batteries
- The remote displays battery capacity conditions on the screen
- The remote has many functions that help to minimise battery consumption. Examples of these include:
- A light sensor ensures the display is backlight only when required
- Remote is automatically turned off when not in use
- Remote enters low power mode when turned off
