Description:

Bennett Hydraulic Actuators (or rams) are available in a variety of models and lengths.

The most common one is the Short Rivet Clear actuator which is standard on most (Australian sold) M80 and M120 Sports trim tab kits.

(The Rivet Clear just means that the actuator base has a recessed slot so it sits above the rivets on the trim tab plane).

• The retracted length of the short actuator is 290mm tip to tip (11 3/4 inches) with a standard stroke of 2 1/2 inches.
• The retracted length of the Extra Short actuator is 270mm tip to tip (10 5/8 inches) with a standard stroke of 2 1/2 inches.

Options:

• 499/352RC - Short Ram - Rivet Clear (most popular) - The retracted length of the short actuator is 290mm (11 3/4 inches) with a standard stroke of 2 1/2 inches.
• 499/352 - Extra Short Ram - Rivet Clear - The retracted length of the Extra Short actuator is 270mm(10 5/8 inches) with a standard stroke of 2 1/2 inches.
• External Line Actuators are also available on request:-

External line actuators have the hydraulic line at the top exterior of the actuator (instead of behind the top triangular actuator plate) so the line can then enter the boat by running  up the outside of the transom above the water line. They are used in boats where access through the hull is inaccessible.
